PLX Logger 3.0 is free to download. It is fully compatible with the PLX iMFD system without a software license. To obtain data from the sensors, two products are available from PLX: the iMFD DataLogger and the iMFD Serial USB Adapter. However, to use PLX Logger 3.0 with Kiwi Wifi, you'll need to purchase a license. What's nice about PLX Logger 3.0 is that it is compatible with the iPhone/iPod Touch app called DashCommand. Logged data from DashCommand can be downloaded into PLX Logger 3.0 for further detail review.
The Kiwi Wifi is used to obtain OBDII data, however if additional sensors are required, such as wideband air/fuel ratio or fluid temperature, you can daisy-chain up to 32 PLX Sensor Modules and read it simultaneously with PLX Logger 3.0. This brings the best of both worlds of OBDII interface and high performance dedicated sensors into one application.
